Ambarella is one of the main suppliers for GoPro. The biggest problem with the market is both companies, Ambarella and GoPro, generate lots of cash, but the stock is going down. GoPro's stock price went down more than 74% over the last year, Ambarella's stock price grew up around 2%. Ambarella issued Q3 results yesterday, as soon as analysts predicted more favorable results, we saw a huge sell out this morning. $AMBA, Ambarella, Inc. / 60 Ambarella develops semiconductor processing solutions for video that enable high-definition (HD) video capture, sharing, and display. GoPro is just the hot company associated to Ambarella. Actually different OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and ODMs (original design manufacturers) use Ambarella's products. This company competes with Israel-based Mobileye, the very strong company in terms of business opportunities. I reviewed them here a few days ago. Let's check the company's financials according to Q3 report:Revenue is going up, the company earned $93.2M in revenues in Q3, representing 42% y-o-y growth;Gross margin is up almost 2.5%, in Q3 it was around 65.7% which is a very high number for the manufacturing business;Ambarella decreased the operating expenses so it's operating income increased to more than $30M compared to $18M for the same time period last year; The company's LTM EBITDA margin is more than 30%, which is 6% higher than for the 2015 fiscal year (the company's fiscal year ends on January 31);For nine months 2016 fiscal year the company almost doubled its net income: from $32M last year to $71M this year. I'm really impressed by the company, I think that it can grow into the huge brand on the fast-growing video recording and streaming market. Ambarella's financials are close to perfect. The company has a huge upside opportunity. You should check them before investing, but I highly recommend you to do it, before the market recognizes how brilliant this company is. UPD: while I was writing this post, the stock went up more than 3%.
