Today Apple unveiled its new iOS 8 at its annual developers event. The update all be available sometime this year most likely in time for the new iPhone release. Aesthetically the update isn't much different from Apple iOS 7 that was released last year. Here are some of the major improvements in the software. Apple improved its Mail app, now you can mark messages as read and keep them at the top of your inbox with one gesture. You can also now pull up the contacts you call the most by simply double tapping the home button. The Spotlight Search feature will now allow you to see results from the App Store, Wikipedia, directions, and movie times amount other searchable results.
