A filing made public today with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission show $89 billion of Warren Buffet's Berkshire equity investments, as of June 30. Berkshire bought 17.8 million shares in the Calgary, Canada based Suncor, which is the country's biggest oil and gas producer. This investment probably backs up all the preaching about how important it is to get in on any company doing fracking cause its the new wave on how to produce energy. All together the company's stake in Suncor was valued at $524 million by the end of the second quarter. While also buying a $23.3 million stake in the satellite tv company Dish network. Now that the news of these new trades are public we will surely see volume move up for these two companies and most likely a boost in shares because we all know Warren Buffet has that golden touch.
