Slated to be completed by the end of next year. Apple’s new spaceship campus has made considerable progress as shown by this recent 5K high-def drone footage, as opposed to in August of last year when it was still a donut-shaped hole in the ground. Designed by acclaimed British architect Norman Foster, the first levels of the expansive building have taken shape, with the final 260,000 square-meter office and research facility to incorporate a 1,000-seat auditorium, an on-site power plant, underground parking, and a 9,290 square-meter fitness gym. The vast space in the middle will become a garden for the building’s 12,000 inhabitants to relax in during downtime. The structure is slated to finish construction by the end of 2016.
