Texas Instruments Tumbles After Slashing Guidance Texas Instruments plunged -10% in after-hours trading after 3Q earnings missed analysts' expectations. The company reported a -11.5% drop in quarterly revenue, due to macroeconomic headwinds mounting from the US and China trade war. "Net income fell to $1.43 billion, or $1.49 per share, in the third quarter ended Sept. 30, from $1.57 billion, or $1.58 per share, a year earlier.
