The market started off the year with a fall but a great earning announcement from banks erase all those loss. The Dow Jones, S&P500 and Nasdaq were all higher today. S&P moved up by gains in shares of technology companies such as NetApp (NTAP) and Teradata (TDC). Bank of America (BAC) increase investor confidence by reporting better-than-expected earnings. This come after a solid earnings from JP Morgan (JPM) and Wells Fargo (WFC) yesterday. Shares of bank that have yet to report their earnings such as Goldman Sachs (GC) and Citigroup (C) also climb up after the news.
