After the blowout yesterday, early ratings for Super Bowl XLVIII are down from last year. The game drew a preliminary rating of 47.6, which is a decrease of one percent compared to last year of 48.1. The complete dominance by the Seahawk’s turned a lot of viewers off, except for Seattle fans. But somehow, Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) managed to increased their tweet volume from last year. Tweets rose 3.3 percent compared to last year. Since Super Bowl 46, the volume of Super Bowl tweets has constantly improved. Twitter is increasingly becoming an intricate part of the games.
