Wendy's (NASDAQ: WEN) will soon be one of the first fast food chains to offer an organic item, according to USA Today. Partnering with Honest Tea, owned by Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO), Wendy's will soon add Honest Tropical Green Tea to its menu. According to representatives from the fast food chain, the move to organic specifically targets millennial customers, USA Today reported. Recently, a healthier food trend has surfaced, leading to the overall consumption of fast food in the United States in decline. "We've been on a mission to democratize organic," Co-founder of Honest Tea said. "Now, we can bring it to people who wouldn't normally have exposure to these drinks." A regular iced tea from Wendy's will cost $1.39, with the organic option hitting $1.69, USA Today reported.
