Rapper and businessman Jay-Z sent out a slew of tweets (NASDAQ: TWTR) over the weekend, showcasing his anger toward what he referred to as "big companies that are spending millions," attempting to badmouth and ruin his new music streaming service Tidal, before its launch, CNBC reported. Big names like Madonna, Beyonce and Rihanna are only a few of music's biggest names involved with Tidal, which offers premium music streaming and content for a $20 monthly subscription, CNBC reported. However, the platform has come under fire recently, with critics saying it will only be able to reach the elite. Some of the tweets include: "Tidal pays 75 percent royalty rate to ALL artists, writers and producers - not just the founding members on stage." "Rich getting richer? Equity values... YouTube $390 billion. Apple $760 billion. Spotify $8 billion. Tidal $60 million."
