The CEO of Angie’s List (NASDAQ: ANGI) will be stepping down, according to USA Today. The company announced Wednesday that Bill Oesterle, leading the company since 1999, will serving as chief officer until a replacement is appointed. According to USA Today, Oesterle firmly opposed Indiana’s recent “religious freedom” law and signed on with other large businesses to threaten a suspension of services in the state. "On behalf of the entire Angie's List Board, I want to thank Bill for his leadership in helping to create one of the strongest brands in local home services," said John Chuang, chair of the company's board of directors said, USA Today reported. "This transition period provides an opportunity to acknowledge and applaud Bill's contributions to the Company, while also ensuring a smooth transition to our next Chief Executive Officer."
