Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) announced it would be opening its first locations in sub-Saharan Africa as early as last year. In a new partnership with Taste Holdings, the American coffee giant to open the first locations in Johannesburg, South African, The Wall Street Journal reported. These new locations will be the first in the sub-Saharan region, with the company housing only a few locations in Casablanca and Cairo, currently.
